  One day my wife and I decided we wanted to upgrade to a king size bed set so we went shopping and found a very nice looking bed set at badcock, after we found the bed set we decided to add a washer and dryer to our list also. I work many days out of the week and long hours so I decided to pay extra and have the furniture delivered and installed. A week later the furniture and appliances were delivered as promised however the installers forgot to hook up the drain to the laundry machine. Luckily I have enough common sense to inspect their work before I wash my first load of laundry and found the issue and fixed it before a disaster happened. I didn’t make a big deal out of it. Mistakes happen and I’m a reasonable person. However, a week later the matress that we purchased started to lump up and became hard to sleep on. I called badcock and they sent an inspector to come take a look. The inspector told us he would order a new mattress like the one we had unless we wanted a different one. We decided to get the same one because we enjoyed sleeping on it before it started to lump up. They told us it would be in the next week and they would have it delivered. The installers showed up a day before they had told me it would be there witch is fine except for the fact that I took the next day off of work to be there and I was on my way to work when they showed up so i had to stick around the house longer making me late to work. The very next day we woke up to find that our second mattress has already begun to lump up. We called and left a message for the manager to call us back thinking that we might need to choose another style mattress, the next night while going to bed I sat down onto it to take my shoes off and the frame fell onto our floor. We once again called badcock and told them our issues and they told us the manager would call us back. AFTER A WEEK of the manager not calling back I became very frustrated and decided to show up at the store. Once she pulled up our list of complaints and issues she she realized that we had wooden slats on our bed frame that weren’t installed correctly and broke which had caused the mattress to lump up both times. I was relieved to hear that the issue had been solved. Then she said she would replace them with metal bed slats so they wouldn’t come apart and break like the original ones. AND THAT IT WILL COST ME NEARLY $200 EXTRA. I became very upset at the fact that they weren’t going to fix the issue for me. I asked them to just order new wooden slats because I have already spent enough with them. She said that she ordered them and they will be here in a week. I don’t hear from them at all for the next week, I took ANOTHER day off of work so I can be there when they promised me and they never showed up.. I called the next day to find out that my slats were on back order... I decided to call corporate badcock about the issue and they said that they are following company policy on the issue. Soon after I hung up I get a call from them saying they would be in Saturday. Today is Saturday and have taken today off for my bed slats. I haven’t gotten a phone call or bed slats. I have learned that badcock doesn’t care about their customers and only wants your money. I hope everyone reads this and chooses to find somewhere else to shop for furniture. I have given away our perfectly fine bed and bought one that won’t even last a month. THANK YOU BADCOCK FURNITURE!!! it has been great sleeping on my couch for the past month and using all my vacation time on your false promises!!!
  Response to owner. The problem may have been resolved to your standards however the bed slays that were used to replace the broken ones are the same quality as the broken ones, nothing has been done to make my situation better honestly. I have waisted a lot of time dealing with your store. Your managers of your store don’t care the slightest that I’m having issues with the high dollar products I’ve purchased. If this is truly your standards then I hope the store closes down.
